Del Sol Review and Giveaway!

With spring days being few and far in between I have been dreaming of the summer sun and waiting patiently for a pretty day when me and the kids could finally go outside and try out our great Del Sol merchandise. Wednesday it was so pretty and unusually warm so me and the kids took the opportunity to check out all of our great Del Sol goodies. We tried several color changing shirts; I especially liked the Disney and Marvel designs. Chris never likes any clothes and is so picky but he loved his Del Sol tee he chose the Sun and Surf Tee. Chris wears such a large size 2X to a 3X so I was so surprised that Del Sol carried the larger sizes and the 2X fit him well. We have to shop in specialty stores to find Chris's size usually and that is embarrassing and so inconvenient. The Del Sol products really change colors and are very vibrantly colored as soon as you expose them to the sun. I was surprised at how colorful Del Sol products were in the sun!

Apparel is just one of the great things Del Sol has to offer the kids loved the color changing toys Del Sol has for outdoor fun. We tried the football, the ball and bat and the Sand Castle Kit. My favorite was the Sand Castle Kit each piece changed to a different color bright pink, purple, blue and even orange. The kids loved the ball and bat but they love Tee Ball so I knew it would be their favorite! We had so much fun playing outside with all of our Del Sol toys! Color changing toys are much more fun than regular toys.
I loved that I had my Del Sol color changing sunglasses. Del Sol makes some amazing sunglasses. I always have trouble finding shades to fit my face but I loved how well Del Sol sunglasses fit my face. They are truly stylish and fun. My Del Sol sunglasses were blue out of the sun and fuchsia in the sun. Del Sol color changing nail polish is the perfect way to show your toes some love this year when wearing sandals. My boys are huge Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans when they saw what Mommy had for them they were so excited. I surprised them and for this weeks movie night we watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutagen Mayhem. My boys favorite episode on this DVD was Follow the Leader. Christian my 5 year old thought it was super cool because it actually didn't come out until today and he said he got to see it before the whole world. They watch a lot of the Nickelodeon channels and play all the games so they were both excited to see something new. Check out all the FREE Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games you can play today on Nickelodeon's website.  They can tell you the words to most episodes but they still love watching them over and over. Everytime I think I have tried every product out there I find something that is just so amazing I have to rave about how tasty my newest find Newman's Own Organics. I was blown away by the quantity and quality of what I was able to try. They don't just have one or two great products; every product they have is so tasty. You can really tell that Newman's Own Organic is a family owned, caring, organic company. Newman's own Organics was actually part of Newman's Own and with the help from his daughter Nell, Paul Newman established an organic food division of Newman’s Own in 1993. Newman’s Own Organics became an independent company in late 2001. You can see Paul and Nell pictured on almost every package!
I know everyone is curious as to what I tried and what my favorites were; so let me fill you in. We tried a variety of Dark and Milk Chocolate bars all so tasty and so much better than those high fructose corn syrup candy bars. In each bite of chocolate you could truly taste the Cocoa flavor come out. They even had raspberry and peanut butter filled organic chocolate bars they were my favorites! We tried several cookie varieties next creme filled and regular cookies. My favorite cookies would have to be the Newman O's creme filled chocolate cookies and the Chocolate Chip Family Recipe Cookies. My favorite 2 products I tried were the Hermits and the Fig Newman's. They were both filled with the perfect fruit and soft baked to perfection! I also recieved dried fruits like Cranberries and Raisins, tons of different pretzel varieties, mint tins, and several different sweet and sour twists. Everything was absolutely amazing! I recommend trying Newman's Own for yourself the next time you go shopping the Hermit's are now a snacking staple in my house.

Naturally Fresh Review and Giveaway!

I was given the opportunity to try Naturally Fresh Deodorant. Naturally Fresh Deodorant uses crystal technology to fight off the mean stinks. It is Paraben free and Propylene Glycol free. I was a little on the defensive because Naturally Fresh asked me how I handled negative reviews. I tried 3 types the twist up crystal stick, crystal spray mist and crystal roll on. I tried each type for a week. I reapplied each 3 times a day morning, mid day and afternoon and I was completely protected. I want to try the Peach scent and Lavender scents now. I am super active and constantly outdoors and chasing my 3 and 5 year old so I need a great deodorant. I also don't want to worry about what is in it. Titanic Attraction Pigeon Forge TN Location Review

"The Titanic" even the name could not describe the magnitude of the ship.The titans themselves seemed 

small in comparison to the size and magnitude of this great ship.  Everyone was anticipating what lay

inside the walls of this great vessel. The kids were filled with a million questions. Maybe it was having known the story or maybe it was just knowing all of the lives that were lost aboard this ship. People who dreamed of starting new lives lost everything. The devastation the Titanic caused was massive. The Titanic Museum Attraction caught my eye from the beginning I have always been interested in the Titanic.

As we reached the front we were greeted by a pleasant lady in a long black dress just like you would imagine the real Titanic staff to be.  She wore glasses and spoke with an excited and confident English accent I loved how everything was so real and true to the era. There we were greeted by the usher where we were given our boarding passes, an explanation of the handsets. The boarding passes assign you an actual person on the Titanic and at the end you find out your fate (whether your passenger lived or died). I was a 3rd class passenger and my son Gavin was a 2nd class passenger.

  I was surprised at how huge the ship actually is; just the fact that they were able to build something so huge was amazing to me! At each point on the ship you used your handset to type in a number and that number corresponded to where you were on the ship. My favorite exhibit area was the Grand Staircase of course and also the Dining Hall. The night the ship sank they were eating crab legs, fish only the best. In that time dining like this was only for the rich and more or less unheard of. Gavin loved the different inclines; that depicted the ship actually sinking. They had 3 different ship deck ends each one set at a different incline that you could climb up and experience how steep and difficult it would have been to stay on the boat and keep from falling in the icy waters. You think you could survive but we actually touched the water (at actual temperature the night the boat sank) as part of an exhibit and it is so cold you feel like a million needles are stinking in your hands. Imagine trying to swim in that water more than 2 or 3 minutes it would be nearly impossible.

  At the end of the tour you see the passenger manifest all of the names are on a huge wall and labeled as to whether you lived or died. Me and Gavin 3rd and 2nd class both lived. What I took away from the living dying aspect was if you were a woman or a child a man died so you could live basically. Almost all the women and children made it but that was because the men stayed behind to give them a seat. What chivalry! I wish that still existed with men today! It is truly an experience though. I was surprised that it made me sad since I was so excited to see it but once you put yourself in the actual moment and see the lives lost and the sadness you will understand. 

 Everyone should see the Titanic Museum Attraction it is designed to accommodate all ages and offers something for everyone.We were pleased to find that wheelchairs were provided for handicapped and the elderly.  My grandmother was able to enjoy the entire tour something that she would have not been able to physically do and later in the tour an elevator took her to the second story.  I also had my 3 year old Gavin and the Titanic had so much for kids to do.  It is truly a glimpse back in time. At the end you can stop and get everyone an amazing souvenir also. They had a wonderful gift shop. Gavin bought an amazing boat and he picked Christian out a very neat scale size Titanic replica. I wish Christian had not gotten sick and could have seen the Titanic Museum Attraction to. We will definitely be going back you can't take everything in on one visit!
